Joint Chambers Networking at the House of Commons

House of Commons - November 9th, 7-10pm

You are invited to join other businesses from across London for a Chambers of Commerce reception at the Terrace Pavilion, House of Commons.

Tickets are £50 +VAT including refreshments of wine, beer, soft drinks and canapés.

RedRoutemaster will be providing transport free of charge leaving from Commerce Road at 5.30pm.

Drop In to the Holiday Inn to discuss a Brentford bridge

Brentford Bridge

The campaign has started for a new pedestrian and cycle bridge from Ferry Quays to Kew.

The bridge will create a direct link from Brentford to Kew Gardens, the Thames Path to Richmond and beyond.

There is a Drop In session next week on Wednesday the 3rd May at The Holiday Inn Brentford Lock between 3:30-7:30pm thanks to the kind support of Holiday Inn and Brentford Chamber of Commerce.

Brentford Dragons 2016 with University of West London

This year, once again in partnership with The University of West London, it will be providing business-minded persons with the opportunity to bring their business ideas to life. Invitation to Enchanted Woodland at Syon Park

Syon Park are generously offering free access to Brentford Chamber members and friends on the opening evening as Syon Park is turned into an Enchanted Woodland at weekends in the run up to Christmas.

Syon Park lights up the dark for the eleventh year running in a magical precursor to Christmas. Follow the illuminated trail through Capability Brown gardens and historic arboretum, round the ornamental lake ending at the spectacular Great Conservatory. See photos of previous years.

Please book as places are restricted for Friday 18th November, between 5-8pm.

From its earliest beginnings Brentford has had a commercial heart, with a market from 1306 and cargo using the River Thames as the main route. With the coming of the Grand Junction Canal in 1805 Brentford become the transport hub for the south east of England. Goods were transhipped between river craft and canal traffic on the newly established canal network and an extensive variety of commercial activity developed supporting and derived from the water based traffic. In parallel, rapidly expanding London demanded increasing amounts of fresh drinking water supplies

Invitation to Discover Capability Brown at Syon House

Capability Brown, born 300 years ago, designed over 170 parks including Syon Park.

Syon House invite you to join their celebration of Capability Brown on July 13th at the Visitor Centre from 6pm with drinks and nibbles to accompany the exhibition and wine tasting.

Guides will take you on a tour round the gardens from 7pm, showing off Capability Brown in Syon as you visit the Grand Conservatory and circle the lake.
