Our next meeting is at the Holiday Inn which is launching its new Open Lobby. If you haven't let us know whether you're attending please do. This is our last event before Christmas and it would be nice to see you.

Our first meeting of next year will be at Brentford Football Club where we will be presented with details of the proposed new stadium. Details will follow but please mark January 23rd in your diary.

November 2012 Newsletter

Those of us who were able to make the early afternoon start had were pleased to have a tour of Sky's newest building and discover what the Sky Skiils Studio is all about.

The planning application for Ballymore's High Street development has now been submitted and you are invited to make your own comments. We have a two minute survey for you to complete please so we can reflect the views of our members. We would really appreciate you filling the survey in before Wednesday evening. has a number of articles and the plans are available to look at online or in the library.

We would urge all of you to attend the meeting on Wednesday 21st November between 6-9pm at St Paul's Church. Brentford Chamber sent a letter on this vital topic to its members. Suzie Betlem will be presenting Brentford Chamber's case at this meeting.

Suzie and Kath recently visited Big Yellow Storage for the presentation of their Queen's Award. Big Yellow are offering 10% off their storage to members. Please quote Brentford Chamber when enquiring.

Last reminder for the Spark! Partnership Challenge this Monday. If you would like to volunteer to talk to students there are still some opportunities before Christmas.

Brentford will switch on its Christmas Lights at Watermans on 23rd November from 5pm. We'd like to thank Brentford Football Club for its sponsorship.

The Mayor of Hounslow invites all residents to his Annual Charity Christmas Ball on December 8th.

Brentford Chamber March 2012 Newsletter

Thank you to everyone who came to our event at the Musical Museum and many thanks to the staff for hosting us and to Thames Water for sponsoring the drinks.

We extend a warm invitation to attend our AGM on May 15th at the Hock Cellar. Friends are welcome to attend but are not of course eligible to vote in the formal proceedings.

We would like you all to help us create an attractive display promoting Brentford businesses to be initially used at our stall for St George's Day celebration but that may be regularly used.

Brentford Chamber would encourage any of our members who have the time to spare to join the executive. A brief description of the role is to be found on our About Us page. You are welcome to contact Peter Hughes or any of the executive members to discuss the role. If you would like to stand for election, please fill in the document Nomination Form 2012 and have it signed by a proposer and seconder.

Andrew Pears’ Descendants Visit Historic Spring Grove House

We are looking for information about Cyril J Scott, hoping to return a bust of him to his descendants.
