Brentford School for Girls Seek Sponsorship

Brentford School for Girls

Brentford School is keen to bring the academic year sponsor opportunities under one sponsor umbrella.

What benefits would sponsoring our events offer you?

  • A prominent visual banner on the front of our school railings promoting the fairs with your name on it
  • Local press coverage on the TW8 community website & the Chiswick Herald
  • Inclusion in our Brentford Bulletin Publication – which goes home to all students half termly
  • Inclusion in our Highlights Magazine - goes home to all students
  • Constant Twitter, Facebook and Instagram promotion of our sponsors (we often boost our posts in the run up to our Fairs so the reach we get is wide)
  • Flyers on the school community board advertising your business
  • A table at both fairs to promote the business
  • Inclusion on our school website detailing the sponsorship
  • Your Company name on our netball kit

The Summer Fair takes place on Saturday 30th June 12pm - 3pm and our Christmas Fair is on Tuesday 18th December 3.20pm - 5.30pm. Both events are always lovely wider school events with many school stalls (with lots of students and staff taking part) and many community stalls selling a wide range of items from handmade jewellery to Neal’s Yard products. Additionally our netball team plays all year round.

Over the next year we aim to secure £1,000 in sponsorship; this would cover all of our printing costs including the banner and the flyers plus the cost of the netball bibs and shirts. Brentford FC Novotel Partnership
Dean Smith, Brentford FC Head Coach, and Terence Beach, General Manager Novotel London Brentford

Brentford Football Club has entered a strategic partnership with local hotel Novotel London Brentford, solidifying an existing relationship. After more than three years working with the Club, Novotel London Brentford has now signed up as a Brentford FC Official Club Supplier for the 2017/18 season and beyond.

Brentford FC has been using the nearby Novotel, which is on the corner of Ealing Road and Great West Road – a few minutes from Griffin Park, as part of match preparations in recent years. Before every home match the Brentford players use the modern and contemporary hotel for their pre-match meal and analysis. It is also used to house new signings before they find permanent accommodation in the area and by the Club for meetings and events.

Crowdfunding Campaign Launched for Brentford Footbridge

Brentford Footbridge

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched today led by Innes Garden (whose company Summation Systems has recently joined Brentford Chamber) to build a new pedestrian and cycle bridge from Ferry Quays to Kew for the first stage of funding.

That money will be used to set up a charitable incorporated organisation (or similar) to take the project forward, as well as securing architectural and engineering designs and topographical, utilities and environmental surveys.

It will also finance a pre-application planning application, due to be completed by June 2018.

The appeal for £166,285 has been launched on Spacehive, with pledges only being cashed in if the target amount is reached by 22nd September.

You can find out more about the bridge on the Facebook page /BrentfordBridge/ or the newly developed website
