The next General Meeting is 6pm next Tuesday (30th April) at the Holiday Inn. There we shall have a workshop entitled “Into the Future” where we shall discuss two main issues: Current position of the Chamber and where do you see the Chamber in the future? We are looking for practical suggestions for improving the Chamber and would welcome everyone’s attendance. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided during the meeting. Please continue the discussion with us afterwards in the Restaurant (at your own expense). The menu can be seen online at Island Restaurant Menu

What key things should the Chamber website do?
How can we attract new members?
What kind of events do we want and how often?

Publication from London Development Agency is the LDA’s guide to who we are and what we will be doing in 2010/11. It follows our annual public meeting earlier this month where we set out the Agency’s priorities moving forward.
Creating better futures
The LDA wants to work in partnership with businesses, London’s boroughs and third sector bodies – any organisation that can turn our plans for the capital’s economic development into action.
We aim to make a difference in six key areas:
- Getting London working
- Supporting London’s businesses
- Building better places in London
- Investing in London’s low carbon future
- Getting the most from the 2012 Games
- Promoting London to the world
