Garth Buckle has asked me to circulate details of two Work Experience Preparation mornings to you in the hope that you may be able to help. The dates and schools are:

Friday 2nd. July Chiswick Community School details are attached with the timings and aims

Wednesday 14th. July Gunnersbury School for Boys details are attached with the timings and aims

These events are well established and the inputs from community partners are very much appreciated as the students go out on work experience the day after the events.

Community partners would be very welcome to run an activity of their choice < please do not think you have to talk to a group of students for an hour or so!! > and this could be on topics such as health and safety in the workplace, customer service, making a good first impression, managing challenging situations and team building.

The events are always great fun and much appreciated by the students and teachers. The events also provide great networking opportunities for community partners with the host school and the other organisations attending.

Both these events are for the morning only and finish with lunch so do not take up a whole day of time.

If colleagues are interested please contact The Business Links Team at The Hounslow Education Business Partnership:
