Redevelopment proposals for Goat Wharf
A planning application has been submitted to the London Borough of Hounslow for the redevelopment of Goat Wharf, 42-50 Brentford High Street, and details can be viewed on the Council’s website.
The proposals are for 86 new homes, including affordable and family housing, commercial space and extensive landscaping to improve the approach to the river from Brentford High Street.
A public consultation was held earlier in the year, with a drop-in session event on 30 June. Feedback from this has been taken into account in developing the proposals. Changes made to the scheme following the consultation include a reduction in the height of the proposed development, stepping the development back from the river and a decrease in the number of apartments.
