Careers Fair for St Mark’s Sixth Form
Abi Conisbee, from the Business Links Partnership invites you to take part in St Mark’s Career Fair.
The Event is only for the sixth form students of which there are 147. In the morning the businesses would have a table in the Hall for students to come round and ask questions and then in the afternoon 2 workshops, to which students sign up to in advance, to go into details of specific industries and career opportunities in more depth.
We really want to expose students to as many careers as possible to give them the best opportunity to make informed decisions about their future. We already have a number of Universities attending as well as BSkyB, Octink and Brentford Football Club.

- 11.00 Displays in the Hall with Sixth Form students circulating
- 12.40 Lunch
- 1.30 Workshop 1. With students in small groups with one of the community
partners to enable them to find out in more detail about the skills and
qualifications needed for a particular career area. - 2.15 Workshop 2. As above with another community partner.
