Chamber July Picnic at Syon House

We’d like to thank all those who came to our annual picnic at Syon House, despite not being bathed in brilliant sunshine.

We had a sociable gathering and it was interesting to mix and meet with members of Richmond Archaeological Society and delve into Brentford’s past in many a conversation.

The Site Director Harvey Sheldon and several of his team gave us a tour of the digs, tucked into a corner of the front lawn away from any wedding photos.

We’d like to thank Leslie Feore and her team at Syon Park for welcoming us, as well as providing our buffet and hope that funding permits the annual excavations to continue.
