Invitation to Brentford Chamber Summer Picnic at Boston Manor House
You are invited to join Brentford Chamber, along with family and colleagues for our July Summer Picnic on 10th July.
This year, in order to commemorate the re-opening of Boston Manor House we have decided to hold our picnic on its front lawn.
Janet McNamara, Brentford’s favourite historian, has offered us a private guided tour of the House at 6.30pm.
Glynn Davis & Lucy Sawyer from the Museum of London will be offering an exclusive, archaeological hands-on session with Brentford artefacts. Pictured is a clay pipe bowl excavated from Brentford.
Croquet will be available on the front lawn from 5pm.
In case of inclement weather Laing has kindly permitted us to use the house (toilets are available!)
All that remains is for you to come along at any time from 5pm onwards, bringing a picnic. Please let us know if you can attend.
Please note there is limited parking available at Boston Manor Park, at the entrance off Boston Manor Road just north of the M4 flyover.
