March 2013 News from Brentford Chamber

We’d like to thank the Six Bells for hosting our last meeting.

Our next meeting is this coming Tuesday at the Watermans for drinks and a light buffet before the evening performance of “The Boy At The Edge of The Room”. If you can’t make the play please join us for a drink beforehand.

The end of April sees our next event with University of West London at Pillars Restaurant with dinner and a “Dragon’s Den” event. Invitations will follow.

Our AGM has been booked for 16th May at the delightful Hock Cellar with grateful thanks to Fuller. The Lord Nelson will once again cater for us and we’re very pleased that Mary Macleod MP will attend and give a speech.

We sent a joint letter with Brentford High Street Steering Group and Brentford Community Council to Hounslow Council, asking about the progress of discussions with Ballymore over the High Street development.

Spark! issued their regular newsletter during Apprentice Week.

Congratulations to Brentford FC Community Sports Trust for their excellent celebration of 25 years at Speaker’s House.

Would you like a volunteer? Adult Training Network are keen to find hosts for adult volunteers.

We have had a request for a small amount of storage space from our local Woodcraft Folk based in Isleworth. If you think you can help please get in touch.

Several events have been and gone that were posted on our website. Please do check it on a weekly if not daily basis for updates.

Not everybody has submitted a logo for their membership profile. If you do have a logo please send it to me in any graphics format so it can be added. We can also add recent photos to your gallery on your profile if you email them.
