2013 AGM at Fuller’s
We were happy to be hosted by Fuller Smith and Turner at the Hock Cellar and were privileged to be welcomed by Michael Turner, Executive Chairman.
You’ll be pleased to know that the Council was re-elected with the addition of Garth Buckle, who is renowned for his work in bringing business and education together.
Suzie briefly spoke on the achievements on the last year, with some great events, increase in membership and enhanced communication with our local council. Next year will be bigger and better. Without a doubt it will also be more exciting.
Mary Macleod MP then spoke on business in Brentford, West London commemorating the achievements over the past few years and the room for growth that exists. She would welcome the opportunity to meet any local businesses and champion their needs so please get in touch.
We then liberally partook of the buffet provided by The Griffin, which has recently changed hands with Gerhard and Claire Peleschka taking over. As former chef to the Waldorf Astoria in Syon Park (now a Hilton) Gerhard provided us with what some said was the best spread ever. His current Wednesday evening Supper Club offers you the opportunity to find out what you’ve missed.
This year’s cakes were baked by Vanilla Frost Cakes, a very local Brentford company.
