In practice, we all want to know how to balance these elements – some of which seem to conflict – and, more to the point, how we ensure we do more than just survive in difficult times.
By bringing together businesses, academics, experts and students from across West London, together we have the chance to share insights and ideas on the issues and opportunities that matter for successful and sustainable business.

#UWLTTTB is a great opportunity to get new ideas, learn from other businesses, gain tips on innovation and funding support for academic and business partnerships and also meet local businesses, expert practitioners, students and academics from University of West London.
#UWLTTTB will start with Registration and Lunch – 13.00-14.00.
At 14.00 there will be a plenary session – followed by break-out sessions.
At 17.15 a reception and chance to network further.

David Fatscher: Head of Market Development Sustainability BSI, will share insights on national standards along with examples of local successes
Suzi Betlem: Chair of Brentford Chamber of Commerce, will talk about local perspectives and best practice
Anne Hartnell: KTP Advisor for The Technology and Strategy Board, can guide us on opportunities from innovation and funding for businesses, in partnership with Universities.
Dr Charlie Fu, University of West London, will give cutting edge ideas on sustainable development in the Built Environment – Process, Procurement and Technology
Roger Cook, MBA Programme Leader, The Business School, will consider the ethical dimensions and help us make sense of ‘good’ business
