Thank you for joining  UWL Business School at our #UWLTTTB Tough Times Tough Business Event to debate the challenges of how to survive and thrive in a sustainable way.

Hats off to our talented speakers: Suzie Betlem, David Fatscher, Juhi Shareef, Anne Hartnell, Charlie Fu from Roger Cook, Dr. Stephen Roberts, Dr. Tony Olden and me – you gave us the food for thought that nourished our debates in breaks and break out sessions. I personally learnt a huge amount and feel we’ve started interesting and productive conversations, which I am confident will lead to ‘better business’ in all its senses.

On the day our event went pretty smoothly. Where it didn’t that was probably me and where it did it’s credit to Karina Murie and our events team, Charmaine Julien, our marketing and communications folk, Media AV (Ian O’Reilly) and our facilities staff – we appreciate all their help.

Deborah Lock – Director of the Business School has been following us on Twitter and sends her best to all – Debbie would’ve loved to have joined us but was abroad on business and it’s down to her support that we could run this event.
