Brentford Chamber at Brentford Lock West with ISIS
The ISIS marketing suite is perfectly positioned by the canal to enable you to lean over the balcony watching the water go by.
Brentford Chamber members and guests spent a very pleasant evening doing just this in the company of Katie Sully and her colleagues who kept us supplied with food, drinks and plenty of ice, much needed on such a warm day.
Adrienne Attorp talked about Cultivate London’s current achievements and took some of us on a tour of its current temporary site on the ISIS development on Commerce Road where it will remain until construction is imminent. A new site will be needed in the coming years.
Peter Hughes, our former President and now Chair of Edge Paddling, showed off his paddle skills on the canal accompanied by Hila Coggans , who runs the Brentford Boating Arch at Kew. We watched a lesson take place and saw the nervous newcomers gain water confidence.
Katie talked about phase I of Brentford Lock West and how well sales are going, including the interesting point that no sales have been to overseas and that the majority of buyers are relatively local, which is heartening news.
It was a very relaxing and informative summer’s evening and we’d like to thank ISIS for looking after us so well and will continue to watch developments with interest.
