Brentford Chamber visit Osterley House with Brentford FC Business Club
The Brentford Chamber of Commerce members were invited to attend the latest Brentford Football Business Club event hosted by Osterley House.
Greeted by Osterley House Manager Neil Cole and his team, we were given an insight into how Osterley is working with The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and involving our local community to participate in Saturday morning fun runs starting at 9am by the clock tower.
An extremely interesting presentation was given by a firm run by George Clough, specialising in conservation and restoration of historic buildings and in particular a demonstration in the art of gilding.
We were then given a tour of the House by its volunteers, who spoke vividly of the many historic events that Osterley House has encountered over the years, and it is well worth a second visit to find out more if its rich depth and history.
Followed by a scrumptious English cream tea of homemade scones and jam, we were very well entertained and look forward to our continued association with BFCBC and with future events along with the Osterley House management team.
If any of our members would like to put forward their business and present at this next event with BFCBC please call Mike Sullivan on 0845 3456 442 or e-mail him at MSullivan@brentfordfc.co.uk
