We are not having an April Spotlight event due to the Easter holidays. April and May are busy months with the following events lined up:

April 15th: General Election Hustings at St Paul’s church
April 18th Brentford FC v Bolton RSVP
April 22nd Dragons Final at UWL RSVP
May 13th Spotlight On at Brentford Novotel RSVP
May 21st AGM at the Hock Cellar RSVP

Chamber News

February saw Phillip Tait of Xpress Solutions and Chris Greenwood of Map Mechanics present their businesses to Spotlight On.

Despite the short notice, several members attended an interesting meeting with Mary Macleod MP to discuss Brentford regeneration.

Members of the Executive were pleased to attend LB Hounslow’s celebration of its 50th anniversary, with invitations extended courtesy of the council and also from Brentford FC who jointly sponsored the event.

March saw our first semi-final and second semi-final of Brentford Dragons both held at the marvellous Pankhurst Theatre at Brentford school for Girls.

We joined Brentford FC business club at Urban Villa last week.

Our hugely successful “Spotlight On” event will return on May 13th with the iconic RedRoutemaster team and Simon Inc, who are branding experts, already on-board!.

We are very grateful to all who have paid their membership fees promptly and look forward to the rest of you following suite. Reminders will be sent out next week if you haven’t already paid. Please do remember you can earn 50% commission if you bring in a new member.

Have you noticed that buses now announce the stop as Market Place rather than Magistrate’s Court? An improvement we asked for, following a request from a local resident via Mark Frost at LB Hounslow.

Congratulations to Brentford School for Girls who are The Highest Performing Non-Denominational School In The Borough.

As part of International Women’s Day, Mary Macleod MP spoke in Parliament, celebrating a number of local women in business.
