Winter Starts with an Enchanted Woodland

Winter Starts with an Enchanted Woodland

Enchanted Woodland

Syon Park are generously offering free access to Brentford Chamber members on the opening evening of November 10th as Syon Park is turned into an Enchanted Woodland at weekends in the run up to Christmas.

Now in its 12th year the trail winds through the arboretum, passing the sixteenth century Syon House, and ends at the spectacular Great Conservatory. An array of lighting effects – from high-tech lasers to low tech candles – illuminate the visitors’ way through the trees.

Lighting effects range from high-tech to low key, but Head Gardener Topher Martyn says it’s the trees which are the real stars of the show as emphasis is placed on bringing out the textures of bark and the forms of some of our 400 different tree species.

The Gardens team at Syon are central to the whole event, designing and installing many of the features on route.

“We’re currently planning our own range of unique displays and can promise a few surprises!. Best of all, the event is run by the gardeners, so you can stop one of us and ask about the trees themselves!”

Places are limited and are restricted to a maximum of four per Chamber member. Please book your tickets by email to secretary@brentfordchamber.org

There will be no admissions without tickets which will be sent via email. Entrance is between 5.30-8pm with lights out at 9pm
