Lionel Road Planning Application

Brentford Chamber has sent the following letter in support of Brentford FC’s move to Lionel Road:

On behalf of the Brentford Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee and our Chamber Members, we would like to formally support the planning application put forward for the new Brentford Football Club Stadium Complex.

Use a Cargo Bike for your Business

Brentford Bikes is an initiative to promote the use of cargo bikes in Brentford and this summer we have three bikes available (provided by The National Cycling Charity) to be used by anyone in Brentford for FREE!

These bikes are perfect for transporting goods and can be a great way to start a new or expand your business.

Brentford Chamber does not have events in August, in the hope that everyone is doing their best to enjoy a summer holiday. We are however planning our Autumn line up and will let you know shortly what’s happening when.

Brentford Chamber at Brentford Lock West with ISIS

The ISIS marketing suite is perfectly positioned by the canal to enable you to lean over the balcony watching the water go by.

Brentford Chamber members and guests spent a very pleasant evening doing just this in the company of Katie Sully and her colleagues who kept us supplied with food, drinks and plenty of ice, much needed on such a warm day.

Response to Hounslow Local Plan

Reading through 228 pages of a document and making constructive suggestions is not an easy task but we have completed it. The Hounslow Local Plan is an important document that sets out the council’s proposals for the future development of the borough over the next fifteen years. The Local Plan contributes to  the achievement of sustainable development, addressing the spatial implicationsof economic, social and environmental change.

ISIS wins gong

The awards look to recognise London’s best examples of architecture, planning and development.

Syon House Celebrates with Museum of London

syonparkWe were privileged to be invited to share Syon House’s celebratory evening along with the Museum of London and their guests. The evening showcases the Summer’s excavation, albeit with a few days to go before they finish for the year. This year the dig took place towards the boundary wall by the Duchess gate in a field with curious cows.

Consultation on extending 235 bus service to Great West Quarter

Transport for London (TfL) is seeking the views of local residents and stakeholders about the proposed changes to bus route 235 that would enhance services to the Great West Quarter Development (GWQ) in Brentford.

The route 235 currently runs between Sunbury Village and Brentford County Court but, under proposals discussed with the London Borough of Hounslow, it would be rerouted along Brentford High Street and Ealing Road to GWQ.
