EBCC Golf Challenge for 2011

A game of two halves! Enter the EBCC Charity Golf Challenge for 2011 and receive a ticket to see Brentford FC play at Griffin Park.

On Friday 25th March 2011 EBCC has exclusive use of Wyke Green Golf Club for a day of supreme golfing action and competition. Enter today and show us your golfing skills! An added bonus for all entrants will be “best seats” to see BFC in action that evening. All funds raised will go towards local community projects and best of all will
be matched by the government through the Grassroots Challenge Fund scheme. This means that your ticket price of £85 becomes at least £170 (or for a team of four £340 becomes at least £680) for local community projects!

March Chamber Meeting at Siracusa Restaurant

Mar 22nd saw our first meeting at Siracusa Restaurant, which will become a regular part of our repertoire of events.

Tim Luckett and Andrew Dakers introduced us to the Docking Station along with a short video that clarified the background and development. Andrew has been working so hard on it that his voice had virtually gone.

We welcomed Phil Ashford from SEAT for his first appearance, Monique from West London Business attended as did Sally Smith and Mark Wardell from Hounslow Chamber as well as over twenty members.

Invitation to March Chamber Meeting at Siracusa Restaurant

You are invited to attend our next General Meeting on the 22nd March at Siracusa Restaurant, Brentford Lock at 6 for a 6.30pm start.

Our host, Ibrahim Unsal, is graciously offering us a glass of prosecco on arrival, followed by a main course accompanied by wine (or other).

Redevelopment proposals for Goat Wharf

A planning application has been submitted to the London Borough of Hounslow for the redevelopment of Goat Wharf, 42-50 Brentford High Street, and details can be viewed on the Council’s website.

The proposals are for 86 new homes, including affordable and family housing, commercial space and extensive landscaping to improve the approach to the river from Brentford High Street.
