Capability Brown, born 300 years ago, designed over 170 parks including Syon Park.

Syon House invite you to join their celebration of Capability Brown on July 13th at the Visitor Centre from 6pm with drinks and nibbles to accompany the exhibition and wine tasting.

Guides will take you on a tour round the gardens from 7pm, showing off Capability Brown in Syon as you visit the Grand Conservatory and circle the lake.

Essential Living is holding a public consultation event for residents on our initial proposals for the redevelopment of the Morrisons site on Brentford High Street.

Essential Living is planning to bring forward a retail and residential scheme on the site, and the event will provide an opportunity for you to tell us about your priorities for the High Street and your feedback on our early ideas. The consultation is being held on Wednesday 20th July, between 3pm and 7.30pm at Waterfront 4, Holiday Inn Brentford Lock, Commerce Rd, Brentford, London, TW8 8GA. Local representatives can attend before 1.30-3pm.

New exhibition showing Capital Interchange Way Proposal

Capital Interchange WayYou are invited to a second public exhibition for the land at Capital Interchange Way in Brentford, designed by Professor Will Alsop OBE, founding director of aLL design.

Some of you may have attended the first exhibition last October of the proposals for a mixed use scheme including 350 new homes, business pods, a car showroom, raised park and a new bus depot.

A planning application is expected to be submitted in August.
