Who are you?

DYC Touring offers Music & Entertainment Industry Transportation Services. We have been in Brentford for approximately 3 years. We supply specially adapted vehicles (Splitter Buses) for the Music & Entertainment Industries, to enable Bands, Artists and their Crew to travel in luxurious surrounds, & carry all equipment / Luggage needed for a complete Tour of the UK and Europe. We also supply Drivers, Tour managers and Crew.

Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK – 2014 Round Open

Sponsored by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and administered by Leonard Cheshire Disability, the Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs in the UK identifies and celebrates business ability by recognising an exceptional disabled entrepreneur.

The competition is open to disabled entrepreneurs on the management board, and with ownership, of any business in the UK. Eligible businesses must have an annual turnover above £10,000 and have been trading for between two and five years.

The Award carries a prize of £50,000.

Regional Growth Fund – could it help you?

Regional Growth Fund (RGF) – Applications sought by BIS from businesses

The Regional Growth Fund (RGF) – Round 6 opened on 19 June 2014. At least £200 million of RGF support is being made available for this round and bidders have until midday on 30 September 2014 to submit their applications to the Fund.

Those bids that are selected for support will have until March 2017 to drawn down the RGF funding.  Round 6 remains focused on the private sector and bids will only be accepted from wholly private organisations, such as limited companies and universities. The minimum bid threshold is £1 million. The RGF continues to operate in England only.

The survey coincides with the announcement of the second annual Small Business Friendly Council Awards which will take place on November 12th in Central London.

The Brentford Chamber of Commerce members were invited to attend the latest Brentford Football Business Club event hosted by Osterley House.

Greeted by Osterley House Manager Neil Cole and his team, we were given an insight into how Osterley is working with The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and involving our local community to participate in Saturday morning fun runs starting at 9am by the clock tower.

July 2014 News from Brentford Chamber

Chamber News July has been a really busy month and what with our Secretary being away for a fortnight and our President taking a few days off, updates haven’t been as timely as we would have hoped.

We held our Dragons finale at Brentford School for Girls.

Syon House graciously hosted us for a drinks reception and a tour of the house.
