Hounslow Businesses and the Olympics
10am-12 noon
Local businesses are being invited to find out how the Olympics could affect them and also how they can benefit from the Olympics at a free event run by the council.
The event is being organised by the council to help local businesses understand the potential impact the Olympics will have on issues such as staff travel, customer access and freight movement.
There will also be information on how to plan for any disruption which may affect businesses’ ability to operate.
Cllr Ruth Cadbury, deputy leader of the council, said:
Brentford-based display and signage specialist Octink has been named as one of the UK’s greenest businesses, for the third year running, in The Sunday Times Best Green Companies list 2011. Working in an industry that generates massive quantities of waste, Octink is leading the way as the only display and signage company to be included on this prestigious list.
