We would be delighted if you were able to join us on Tuesday 26th April from 6pm at Brentford Tandoori, Brentford High Street.

Brentford Tandoori has been a stalwart on the high street for over 40 years and recently underwent an extensive refurbishment.   The hugely popular family run business will be showcasing their food by providing a light buffet to tempt your palate.

Congratulations on CPO for Lionel Road

We would like to take the time to welcome the news that on the 1st April, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, the Rt Hon. Open Moorings Day at Brentford

WaterwaysSarah Escott, of Malthouse Marine Associates and Chamber member, invites you all to discover more about boat life in Brentford. She says:

“We’d love to see Brentford Chamber members at our Open Moorings Day at Malthouse Wharf, Catherine Wheel Road (along with Town Wharf and supported by Johnson Island Artists and the Brewery Tap). It takes place this Saturday, 16th April from 12pm onwards.

“The idea is simple. We’d like more people to know our moorings exist. We’d like to share what life is like on the water. We’d like more people to know we are generally decent law-abiding citizens! (In anticipation of very likely changes happening here in the next year or so!)

New Executive and President

At our Annual General Meeting the current Executive and President will retire and a new team will be elected. Several members of the Executive are stepping down this year due to other commitments and Suzie Betlem has now been President for 4 years which is the maximum term of office.

We would welcome Chamber members stepping forward to help run the Chamber and there is no need to wait to be asked.

Brentford Waterside Strategy

lots ait boat tripWe’ve sent a letter to Brendon Walsh, Director Regeneration, Economic Development and Environment on the need for a waterside strategy in Brentford:

I am writing on behalf of Brentford Chamber of Commerce to firmly support the letter (ref BCC761) recently sent to you by Brentford Community Council urging for a waterside infrastructure.

Brentford Chamber has several members who either work with boats, on boats or live in them and all who live in Brentford respect the added value that the waterside gives us as community.
